BREAKING NEWS : dining chairs!

I'm very excited to report that I'm one step closer to being able to eat in an actual table-and-chair setting: this weekend I bought chairs!

I'm totally in love with my chairs, they're everything I've been fantasizing about... clear acrylic, and very mod. I've had my eye on the Philippe Starck Ghost chairs for a while now, but then the first Pinkberry opened up near me and I realized that Pinkberry has the Ghost chairs, and then I blinked and ten more Pinkberries opened up in my neighborhood and they all have the Ghost chairs of course, and suddenly the Ghost chair didn't seem so special anymore.

So I was kind of giving up on that dream, when yesterday I spied these new chairs in a window, and I knew we were meant to be together. They're very mod, but in the clear they have a diamond-esque quality which gives them just a hint of a girly boudoir vibe - I loooooove them.

Now to find a table. I want a very antique-looking table to contrast with these modern chairs. I need a smaller-than-standard size to fit in the available space, so it's been tricky to find what I'm looking for, but hopefully the furniture gods will be with me and I'll soon find my treasure. I really want something old and funky, and maybe I'll even paint it glossy black or white.

Here's another view of The Chair. It comes in all these great popsicle colors - so fun!

Congratulations for the good choice. I also tried personally these chairs inside the furniture shop where I bought already many articles for my apt and I was just sitting on the Alchemia chair during the talking with the seller.

They are really really comfortable and I think that I will buy four of them for my kitchen too. Maybe I will enjoy more the transparent white color.

Compliments for your blog.
Ciao!
