big day tomorrow

Ooh, I'm getting a little nervous - tomorrow I will be interviewing (in person) fancy-pants fashion designer James Coviello about the hand-knit and crochet garments in his line, as well and the knit and crochet wear he designs for fancier-pants Anna Sui. I'm super-excited to meet him, but a little intimidated - I'm no fashion maven, so I hope I can make myself sound at least a little knowledgeable!

The big question is, what should I wear?! I guess I'll break out my best designer duds, which... let me think... will probably be something from H&M. Sigh.

Here are two Coviello knit looks for Fall '08, which I think are super-cute and totally wearable, if only I could afford it:

And some awesome granny-meets-Wonder-Woman sweaters he did for Anna Sui:

...So why do I have this honor, you may be wondering? Well, it has to do with a VERY EXCITING new gig of mine, which I am looking forward to sharing with you very soon.

Check back on Monday for the Coviello report, as well as a sneak-peek of a few other big-name crafty peeps I'm interviewing tomorrow, too. Eep!

You always look pretty pulled together even when you think you don't (for some reason I just got an image of the pants with the oranges on them, SO cute). Besides your personality will carry the day no matter what you wear.

You could SO knit that cardi and beret set -- and you'd look just fab in it!

So how was the interview?
