WEEKEND CHALLENGE: scarf or die

So, I've been knitting this quick little scarf since Rhinebeck. I haven't knit a scarf in years, because, oh right I remember now, I HATE KNITTING SCARVES, they're boring... but I tricked myself into this one because I thought it would be quick. Of course, I got bored with it and here I am months later, 80% done with the thing, and spring bearing down fast. It's mustard yellow, which I surely won't like by next fall, so it's now or never.

I was working on it today during some down time at a photo shoot, thinking, when is this teeny tiny ball of yarn going to end? Noticing that the scarf is actually long enough now, I decided that the satisfaction of finishing would trump the satisfaction of using the whole ball of laceweight suri alpaca. And so it was decided: whatever length I have obtained on Sunday is the length it shall be. I will block this scarf on Sunday night come hell or high water.

There, I've announced it on the interweb, so I've gotta do it. Check back on Monday morning for a picture of the finished thing!

Uh, I guess I neglected to mention that it actually *is* a scarflet, that's all I'm going for here... and I still can't get it done! :)
