I whipped up these ornaments for my design*sponge column using some of my favorite cookie cutters. Just trace the cutters, add embroidery "icing," and stuff them with fiberfill. Simple household things like baking tools can become so sentimental over the years, and these ornaments are a great way to preserve (and share) family favorites.

Yes, cookie cutters make wonderful patterns to trace around for ornaments. If you are lucky enough to find coloring books with large printed pages they work well as patterns too and can be used when making quilts. Love your ornaments and your show.
